Our great dance heritage began in 1947 when one of the greatest dancers of all time, Mr. Fred Astaire, cofounded our company. He developed a practical, interrelated dance curriculum that embodied the fundamental principles of good dancing, flavored by his style and grace. Now, over 110 studios spread throughout the United States are teaching the "Fred Astaire way." Our studios offer all kinds of dance instruction - from ballroom to country western to salsa to nightclub dancing - for all ages and abilities through private, group, and practice lessons.  
 
At every Fred Astaire Dance Studio, learning how to dance is always easy and fun! In your very first lesson, you'll learn the basic elements of which all dance patterns are based and within hours, you'll be ready to dance! Location
Fred Astaire San Antonio is located along the outer access road of Loop 1604 just east of Stone Oak Parkway, in the La Arcata shopping center (just east of Sushi Zushi and Reggiano’s). We are in Suite 1200 on the second floor, facing Loop 1604.

Directions
From the intersection of 281 and Loop 1604: Go west on Loop 1604. Get off at the Stone Oak Parkway Exit (or stay on the west bound Loop 1604 access road). You will pass Jason’s Deli and Costco. Go approximately 1000’ and you will see the La Arcata shopping center on your right. The Dance Studio is located on the second floor, next to Bella’s Bridal.

From Stone Oak: Head south on Stone Oak Parkway, toward Loop 1604. Approximately 500’ before you reach Loop 1604, you will see a Starbucks and Frost Bank on your left; take a left onto Tuscany Stone. Bear right at the roundabout, go approximately 200’. The La Arcata shopping center will be on your right. The Dance Studio is on the second floor, next to Bella’s Bridal.
