“Stuff the Bus” at West Avenue Elementary School

West Avenue Elementary School will “Stuff the Bus” courtesy of school supply donations from business partner UMR and its employees.

UMR Offices, 12668 Silicon Drive, 78249 (near I10 and DeZavala)
Media should ask accompanying parents for permission to film/photograph students.
Why:
School supplies will be donated by UMR employees to benefit the students of West Avenue. This is the third year that the company has supported the school with a school supply drive.
Visuals:
An empty school bus will leave West Avenue Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. Staff, PTA members and several students will ride the bus to UMR offices. Once at UMR, the West Avenue group will walk around the company’s departments to thank them and collect the donated supplies. Supplies will then be loaded into the bus. The bus should return to West Avenue around 12 p.m. for unloading.
