Gold Canyon exit closed until Wednesday

Due to ongoing construction of the Loop 1604 / Hwy 281 interchange, the left lane of the westbound Loop 1604 frontage road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28.  Crews will be pouring concrete for a direct connector.

The Gold Canyon exit off of eastbound Loop 1604 will also be closed until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29.  Crews will be working on a direct connector in that area as well.  Motorists needing to exit at Gold Canyon can use the Hwy 281 exit ramp and continue on the access road or do a u-turn at the Bulverde Road exit.
