NEISD Book Fair: Huge selection, cheap prices!

The North East Council of PTAs is hosting its 10th Annual Used Book Sale at Blossom Athletic Center April 13-15. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.  More than 80,000 books will be offered in at least 25 different categories, including biographies, business, cookbooks, fiction, history, hobbies, self help, religion/inspiration, science fiction/fantasy, mystery and parenting. 

The selection of children's books is enormous.  Not only will parents discover a huge selection of picture books and board books for their little ones, but school-age readers will find plenty to choose from while browsing the wide variety of chapter, series and young adult books. 

Prices are $1 for hardbacks, 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for DVDs.  On Sunday, fill an entire bag of books and pay a flat $15 fee ($10 for each additional bag).  Cash and credit cards will be accepted. 

More than 37 schools are participating in the book sale this year to raise funds for NEISD students.  Proceeds from the sale will fund various PTA projects, such as the Blossom Scholarship Fund, bike rodeos, alcohol and drug education, Project Graduation and more.

This event is open to the public.
