281 Super Street: Construction update

Weather permitting, the contractor plans to tackle the following projects related to the Hwy 281 Super Street between Sunday, Sept. 12 and Thursday, Sept. 16:

 

Intersection of Hwy 281 and Evans Road (northbound and southbound lanes)

Work has been temporarily halted at this location and redirected to the Marshall Road construction area. 

 

Hwy 281 and Stone Oak

Hwy 281 and Marshall Road (northbound and southbound lanes)

Crews continue to widen the center median of Hwy 281 north and south of Marshall Road.  The inside lane on both sides of Hwy 281 will be closed between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.  Crews will continue concrete rail work on the u-turns north and south of Marshall Road between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  No traffic will be affected. Work on traffic signals at both turnarounds as well as the Marshall Road intersection is also planned.
