Tejeda teacher sets up cultural exchange in Japan

During the summer, Tejeda Middle School teacher Laurie Huhndorf visited Japan and set up a cultural exchange with Karyo High School in Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. The exchange will take place via a Web site where students can post pictures, videos, blogs and more. These postings will help the students learn more about each other's lives.

Huhndorf visited the high school on June 17 to meet Tetsuro Umeiji's class and learn about the Japanese education system. Umeiji is the English teacher at Karyo.
