Why Choose The Buckner Fanning Christian School

Our Mission
The Buckner Fanning Christian School is dedicated to educating children in an interdenominational Christian environment that extends the unconditional love and grace of God while providing an exemplary educational experience. Promoting a lifetime desire for learning, the school will equip the future men and women of the twenty-first century with the tools necessary to help them shape and better the world in which they live.

Christian Commitment
The Buckner Fanning Christian School at Mission Springs is rooted in the unconditional love and grace of God. We teach all subjects in the curriculum as part of an integrated whole with the Scriptures at the center. The School at Mission Springs strives to provide a clear model of Biblical Christian living through the staff and board. Members of our staff attend, and are active in, many different churches. The School is committed to the principles of the Christian faith, while secondary doctrinal issues are referred to the parents. This interdenominational school embraces students from a variety of faiths. All students will be exposed to Christian history and culture, beliefs, and practices through prayer, Bible study and daily Chapel. Students will be encouraged, through the gentle and loving example of our teachers and staff to grow closer to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

About The School
The Buckner Fanning Christian School at Mission Springs is located on several beautiful acres of hill country property near the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Evans Road, as part of an interdenominational complex that was established by the Buckner Fanning Evangelistic Foundation in 1998. We provide a safe, orderly and encouraging school atmosphere while helping our students acquire a sense of personal dignity and responsibility. We recognize that genuine positive self-esteem rises through self-respect as result of hard work, accomplishments, correct behavior and respect for others. We recognize that children are unique individuals each with his or her own special God given gifts and talents.

The School at Mission Springs does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin in the administration of its educational program, admission, scholarships or other school policies.
