There is a purpose behind the plethora of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations you will find annually on March 17th. St. Patrick died on March 17th in Ireland, leaving a legacy behind for establishing monasteries across the country. There are more people of Irish descent in America than in Ireland itself, which has made St. Patrick’s day a tradition across the globe for Irish and non-Irish alike to celebrate.
