Camp Bow Wow will offer a Pet First Aid and Disaster Response Workshop from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 20. This certification course teaches CPR, the Heimlich maneuver and how to respond to the most common pet emergencies, including bite wounds and sudden illnesses. Camp Bow Wow's Airport location, 11931 Jones Maltsberger, will kick off a six-week Beginner Dog Obedience class May 21 and May 24. Classes will be offered from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. every Monday 2 to 3 p.m. every Sunday or Thursday. This is a beginner course using positive reinforcement techniques to teach new behaviors. Dogs will learn eye contact, loose leash walking and basic commands. Cost is $99 and registration required.
