The second annual San Antonio VisionWalk will be held Saturday, March 13 at Brackenridge Park. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the 5k walk will kick-off at 9 a.m. Proceeds beneft the Foundation Fighting Blindness, an organization dedicated to funding research studies for the prevention, treatment and cure of blinding diseases. On Saturday, April 3, Northrock Church will host an inaugural Helicopter Easter Egg Drop at Lopez Middle School. Every Thursday in April a "Spirit Night" fundraising event supporting Reagan High School's 2010 Project Graduation will be held at a different local restaurant. On Thursday, April 8, Spirit Night will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at McAlister's Deli near Loop 1604 and Hwy 281. A portion of sales made during this time will support Project Graduation, an all-night drug- and alcohol-free graduation party held for Reagan High seniors.
