The Littlest Pet Shop Parade will be held from 11 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Wal-Mart near Loop 1604 and Hwy 281. Free and open to the public, this event will celebrate the popular toy series and include giveaways, photo opportunities and the chance to purchase new exclusive pets. Lifehouse Church's Revolution Youth program is offering a Parent's Night Out from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Mom and dad are welcome to drop off the kids and enjoy an early Valentine's Day dinner, a movie or just some time to run a few errands. Cost is $10 for each of the first two children and $5 for additional siblings. Dinner is included. Parent's Night Out is for children 2 years of age through the fifth grade only. Please RSVP by Feb. The David Shelton Gallery at 20626 Stone Oak Parkway will host an opening reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 for its fourth exhibit, "Foretopia," featuring new works by Judith Cottrell, Sara Frantz, Jayne Lawrence and Vincent Valdez. A preview will be offered from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. The exhibit will be on display through March 20. | ||
