A summer basketball camp for children 5 to 17 years of age will be held July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25 and July 28-Aug. 1. Featuring professional basketball player David "DJ" Jones, the camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fellowship of San Antonio Gym, located at the corner of Wilderness Oak and Canyon Golf Road. Cost is $225 per child. Lunch and t-shirts are included and discounts are available for students of Buckner Fanning Christian School. The Ice and Golf Center at Northwoods will again host its weeklong Camp Freeze this summer. Open to those ages 6 to 15, the summer camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7-11 and Aug. 4-8. Cost is $249 for the week and includes lunch, skate rentals, miniature golf and on-ice admission. Those who enroll early pay $199 and a drop-in daily fee is $60.
