Dr. Nancy Guzman joins Stone Oak Vision Source

Dr. Nancy Guzman and Dr. Monica Allison

We are welcoming our fourth doctor to our team this month at Stone Oak Vision Source!  Dr. Nancy Guzman has moved here after practicing for 2 years in Eagle Pass.  Dr. Guzman was an assistant in Dr. Allison's practice years ago while she was in school and we are excited  to have her back on our team in this new role.  Dr. Guzman enjoys fitting contact lenses on hard to fit cases and also loves working with children.

Clearly Enjoying Our Summer

Summer is here and we are so lucky in San Antonio to have a lot of fun choices for things to do with our families. We have multiple amusement parks in the area, water parks too, and lots of ways we can vacation right here at home! Part of enjoying a good vacation is being able to see everything clearly.  We definitely recommend a good pair of sunglasses for protecting your eyes from the intense summer sun.

Orthokeratology:
Reshaping Your Eyes with Contact Lenses

Wouldn't it be great if your nearsightedness could be corrected while you sleep? It might sound far-fetched, but it's a reality for some people. It's called orthokeratology, ortho-k, corneal reshaping, or corneal molding and it is available throughout the country.

Don't let your health savings dollars go to waste!

Most participants know they can use their plan dollars for eye examinations, eyeglasses and contact lenses, but there are many more ways to apply those dollars towards eye care.
